I know you won't like my solution but...
I would make them clean up the bathroom floor. If they don't do a good job, come back and do it again, and again, and again until they get the point that cleaning up the watery mess is not fun. I would leave the dirty dishes on the table and they would not be fed until they cleared them away and washed the dried on mess. Then taking putting dishes in the sink right after dinner would be easier than having to scrub them in the morning. For the phone, I would have to be more creative. One warning (finger to lips) then if they continue, they lose something they value or get shut in their rooms until your call is over or something like that. Tantrums/meltdowns mean the child goes to her room until she is able to discuss things rationally. Not enough time in the morning, make them get up earlier if you know they will need to wash their dishes. It will make your life harder at first but to me it was worth it in the end.
